Course Description
The humanities core is an interdisciplinary class, which combines both English and history, to help you think about ideas more critically and deeply. In each unit, the English and history curriculum revolve around an open-ended research question. At the end of the unit, you will develop an articulate response to the research question through projects and essays. The reason we combine the two classes in this way is because it allows for the type of thinking that you will be required to do in college. In the humanities core you will also continue to refine your reading, writing, and listening and speaking skills.
